How To Use It
First, make sure the weight vest fits correctly. Adjust the Velcro straps until it is comfortable. You don’t want the training vest too loose, so it moves around when you’re doing burpees or jumping jacks. However, you also don’t want it too tight.
Change the number and location of the individual metal weight packs on the vest until you have a lighter overall weight, we recommend starting with 10 pounds. It may not sound like much, but your muscles will definitely feel it. Then choose a bodyweight circuit that you can already do comfortably – try to complete your typical reps. Add the extra individual weight packs to your vest slowly, as the circuit becomes less challenging.

The adjustable weighted vest lets the user increase or decrease the weight on the vest by adding/removing individual 2.1lb weighted bars among 19 pockets, providing a maximum added weight of 40lbs.

    Love this thing. It is well made, with the weights easily taken out and inserted for whatever degree of resistance you want. It is particularly good for leg work like lunges and other squatting movements because the length of the vest sits relatively high on the torso, so in the low point of a squat or lunge, the upper thighs come no where near contacting the vest. The general seems quite variable, using the Velcro belt for whatever degree of snugness one would want. The description is slightly off, as there is nineteen, not 18, separate weights. The front has 5 in the bottom row, and 4 on top, each held in with a Velcro flap. The back has two rows of 5. Total weight is just over 42 pounds (according to my digital scale). The shoulders are lightly padded , easing the strain of the fully loaded vest enough that the vest was never a strain on that area of the body. Price seems to vary, so shop around.
