Most people who have joined a gym have only good intentions. They say they’re going to work out more and lose weight, but they don’t. I’d go for a run every day, lift weights, and do some type of exercise on the other days of the week. I was sure I was doing everything right, but the results just weren’t there. I got winded running up stairs and wasn’t seeing any changes on the scale or in my body. In this post, we break down 5 reasons you’re not getting results.
1. You’re not working out hard enough
If you’re not sweating, panting, and red in the face by the end of your workout, you’re probably not working out hard enough to see results. To see results, you have to push yourself outside of your comfort zone and really go for it.

2. You’re not challenging yourself
Once your body adapts to a certain type or level of exercise, it becomes much easier to do. This is why it’s important to constantly challenge your body by trying new things and increasing the intensity of your workouts. If you don’t challenge yourself, your body will quickly adapt and you won’t see results.

3. You’re not eating clean
You can work out all you want, but if you’re still eating junk food and processed meals, you’re not going to see the results you want. Eating clean means eating whole foods that are nutrient-rich and devoid of preservatives and chemicals. Fill up on lean protein, healthy fats, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

4. You’re not getting enough sleep
In order to see results from your workouts, your body needs time to recover and repair muscles. This process happens when you sleep, so if you’re not getting enough shut-eye, your body won’t be able to properly recover. Try to aim for 7-8 hours of sleep per night.

5. You’re expecting miracles
Working out is hard work and it takes time to see results. If you want to see changes in your body, be patient and consistent with your workouts and nutrition plan. Don’t expect miracles overnight—they won’t happen!

Conclusion
If it’s clear to you that you’re not getting results, there are a few potential reasons why. It’s important to figure out what the issue is so that you can make the necessary changes. To achieve results, it is important to be clear about what you want to achieve, take action every day, and track your progress so that you can adjust your strategy as needed.
